We've had a great first day of skiing. We've been assigned group 2 which means we ski in the afternoon. The conditions are perfect with bright sunshine and clear skies. The snow is pretty good too :).
The children seemed to take to it like fish to water. The groups worked out really well and everybody seems to be in a group that suits their level. It's very well organised with a competent ski instructor/pupil ratio. There's a good mix of French and English spoken among the instructors.
We got back to the hotel at about 4:30 absolutely exhausted. The children had a snack and then showered.
At the moment they are doing some visual arts activities with the monitors. We are due to have dinner in 10 minutes so that's my cue!.
Tomorrow morning we will do an orienteering activity in the village of Grimentz and then skiing in the afternoon.
